Perfect-bound catalogs with adhesive binding. Ideal for catalogs, manuals, and reports with more pages.
No single standard specification is recommended; the choice depends on intended use and purpose. Woodfree paper is suited to orders centered on writing and information delivery, while matte coated or gloss coated paper is recommended for image-focused orders.
The finishing specification is determined by the order's objective. Foil and spot UV are appropriate for orders emphasizing a premium feel, while lamination suits orders requiring a clean finish. Matte laminate provides a refined texture with reduced fingerprint visibility, and gloss laminate provides vivid color reproduction with color protection. Please finalize the specification during the quotation stage.
Perfect-bound catalogs are available from a minimum of 12 pages. The page count must be a multiple of 4, and a minimum page threshold is applied to ensure adequate spine thickness.
Ajiro binding introduces slits along the spine to allow the adhesive to penetrate. Compared to standard perfect binding, it provides superior bonding strength and easier opening, with reduced page separation. This is the standard specification for pluber's perfect-bound catalogs.
Spine printing is available when the spine measures 5mm or more in thickness. Below this threshold, registration shifts may misalign the printed area, so it is not recommended. Titles and logos should be positioned at the center of the spine, with a 2mm buffer area maintained along each edge.
No single recommendation applies. Matte laminate offers a refined texture and a polished impression, while gloss laminate delivers vivid color and a bold impression. Please select according to brand tone. Matte tends to show fingerprints, while gloss makes scratches more visible.
