PLABER Co., Ltd. ('plaber.net', hereinafter 'PLABER Co., Ltd.') establishes and discloses the following Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to promptly and smoothly handle related grievances in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
○ This Privacy Policy is effective from August 25, 2021.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

PLABER Co., Ltd. ('plaber.net', hereinafter 'PLABER Co., Ltd.') processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures will be taken, such as obtaining separate consent pursuant to Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

1. Website Membership Registration and Management

Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership registration intent, identification and authentication for providing membership services, maintaining and managing membership qualifications, preventing fraudulent use of services, confirming consent of legal representatives when processing personal information of children under 14, and various notifications and grievance handling.

2. Handling Civil Complaints

Personal information is processed for the purposes of verifying the identity of the complainant, confirming complaint details, contacting and notifying for fact-finding, and notifying of processing results.

3. Provision of Goods or Services

Personal information is processed for the purposes of product delivery, service provision, customized service provision, and payment settlement.

4. Use in Marketing and Advertising

Personal information is processed for the purposes of developing new services (products) and providing customized services, providing event and promotional information and participation opportunities, verifying service validity, and understanding access frequency or statistics on members' service use.

Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)

  1. PLABER Co., Ltd. processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use of personal information pursuant to laws or within the period of retention and use of personal information agreed upon when collecting personal information from the data subject.
  2. The processing and retention periods for each type of personal information are as follows:

PLABER Co., Ltd. processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information) and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as with the consent of the data subject or special provisions of law.
  2. PLABER Co., Ltd. provides personal information to third parties as follows:
    • Recipients of personal information: Shipping and logistics partners for order fulfillment
    • Purpose of use by recipients: Product delivery and shipping status tracking
    • Retention and use period by recipients: Until completion of delivery service

Article 4 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)

  1. PLABER Co., Ltd. entrusts personal information processing as follows for smooth processing of personal information business:

    • Trustee (Processor): Toss Payments Co., Ltd.
    • Entrusted work content: Purchase and payment processing, product delivery or sending bills
    • Entrustment period: 5 years

    • Trustee (Processor): Hanjin Co., Ltd.
    • Entrusted work content: Product delivery or sending bills
    • Entrustment period: 5 years
  2. When concluding an entrustment contract, PLABER Co., Ltd. specifies in the contract or other documents matters concerning the prohibition of processing personal information beyond the scope of the entrusted work, technical and administrative protective measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of the trustee, and liability for damages pursuant to Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, and supervises whether the trustee processes personal information safely.
  3. If the content of the entrusted work or the trustee changes, it will be disclosed through this Privacy Policy without delay.

Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them)

  1. Data subjects may exercise their rights to access, correct, delete, and request suspension of processing of personal information against PLABER Co., Ltd. at any time.
  2. The exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made to PLABER Co., Ltd. in writing, by email, or by fax pursuant to Article 41, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and PLABER Co., Ltd. will take action without delay.
  3. The exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made through an agent such as a legal representative or a delegated person. In this case, a power of attorney pursuant to the form in Annex 11 of the "Notice on Methods of Processing Personal Information (No. 2020-7)" must be submitted.
  4. Requests for access to personal information and suspension of processing may be restricted pursuant to Article 35, Paragraph 4 and Article 37, Paragraph 2 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
  5. Requests for correction and deletion of personal information cannot be requested if the personal information is specified as a subject of collection in other laws.
  6. PLABER Co., Ltd. verifies whether the person making the request pursuant to the data subject's rights is the person themselves or a legitimate representative.

Article 6 (Items of Personal Information Processed)

  1. PLABER Co., Ltd. processes the following personal information items:

Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)

  1. PLABER Co., Ltd. destroys personal information without delay when personal information becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period has expired or the processing purpose has been achieved.

If personal information must continue to be retained pursuant to other laws despite the expiration of the retention period agreed upon by the data subject or the achievement of the processing purpose, the personal information is moved to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different location.

Article 8 (Measures for Ensuring Security of Personal Information)

PLABER Co., Ltd. takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:

We conduct regular internal audits (quarterly) to ensure the safety of personal information handling.

2. Minimization and Training of Personal Information Handlers

We designate employees handling personal information and limit and minimize them to manage personal information.

3. Establishment and Implementation of Internal Management Plans

We establish and implement internal management plans for safe processing of personal information.

4. Technical Measures against Hacking

PLABER Co., Ltd. ('PLABER Co., Ltd.') installs security programs, performs regular updates and inspections, and installs systems in access-controlled areas with technical and physical monitoring and blocking to prevent leakage and damage of personal information due to hacking or computer viruses.

5. Encryption of Personal Information

Users' personal information is stored and managed in encrypted form so only the user can know the password, and important data uses separate security functions such as encryption of files and transmission data or file lock functions.

6. Storage and Prevention of Falsification of Access Records

Records of access to the personal information processing system are stored and managed for at least 1 year, and for 2 years or more when adding personal information of 50,000 or more data subjects or processing unique identification information or sensitive information.

7. Restriction of Access to Personal Information

We take necessary measures to control access to personal information through granting, changing, and deleting access rights to the database system that processes personal information, and control unauthorized access from outside using intrusion prevention systems.

8. Access Control for Unauthorized Persons

We have a separate physical storage location for personal information and establish and operate access control procedures for it.

Article 9 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices)

  1. PLABER Co., Ltd. uses 'cookies' that store usage information and retrieve it from time to time to provide personalized services to users.
